Glue Chipping

Glass is sandblasted to rough up the surface, then melted glue is applied. The glue adheres so strongly to the surface of the glass that as it dries and contracts, the top layer of the glass is pulled off leaving behind a texture that many describe as frost on a window. Selected areas of the glass can be glue chipped to achieve a desired effect.
